With a deep sense of responsibility towards society and the environment, we develop and support initiatives that promote sustainability, social solidarity, and public awareness on critical issues, with a focus on water management, environmental protection, and support for vulnerable groups.

Support for NGOs and Social Organizations

Veluda Water Filters collaborates with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), such as A.T.A.X.T.O.I. (People of Solidarity Without Walls & Economic Self-Interest), Right to Life, Iliachtida, and others, supporting actions that promote quality of life and access to clean water. Through donations, sponsorships, and volunteer programs, we actively contribute to the implementation of projects that have a direct and positive impact on local communities. Actions for Education and Vulnerable Groups

Recognizing the role of education as a fundamental pillar of development, Veluda Water Filters offers donations to schools, strengthening equipment and infrastructure related to clean drinking water and environmental protection. In addition, we support vulnerable social groups through actions that include the distribution of essential goods, the provision of water products to social organizations, and the organization of social solidarity programs.

Environmental Responsibility and Sustainable Practices

Environmental protection is a priority for our company. We implement strict sustainability policies, avoiding the use of single-use plastics and promoting eco-friendly solutions. We also organize and participate in reforestation and natural area cleanup initiatives, actively contributing to the preservation of the natural balance.

Health Initiatives

Veluda Water Filters, with a strong sense of social responsibility, supports pediatric hospitals through the sponsorship of modern water supply systems. Recognizing the importance of clean and safe water for children's health, we provide advanced filters and water supply systems, ensuring immediate and quality access to filtered water for young patients, their families, and medical staff.

Through this initiative, we contribute to improving the hospitalization experience and daily lives of children, offering solutions that promote hygiene, safety, and well-being in the hospital environment. A life-saving alliance to ensure cleaner water for the children of the ELPIDA Guesthouse, while also reducing the environmental footprint, was formed between the ELPIDA Guesthouse and VELUDA WATER FILTERS. Wishing to actively support the work of the Association, the company committed to a five-year sponsorship involving the installation of water filters, water treatment systems, and water coolers at the ELPIDA Guesthouse, so that the water is freed from potential solids, chemicals, microbes, and salts that could burden the children's sensitive immune systems. With the installation of the filters, the ELPIDA Guesthouse reduces its environmental footprint by eliminating the plastic bottles that were previously used. We also support health initiatives such as organizing voluntary blood drives, contributing to the replenishment of blood supplies and supporting those in need.

Talks, Seminars, and Development Opportunities

Promoting continuous education and awareness, we organize talks and seminars on sustainable water management, environmental responsibility, and social solidarity. We provide development opportunities for both our partners and the wider public, fostering the spread of knowledge and best practices. For us, corporate social responsibility is not a choice, but a moral obligation. With consistency and ongoing action, we are committed to continuing to serve society and the environment, creating a better future for all.

Voluntary Blood Donation

Blood donation is an act of love and social compassion.

On Saturday, November 13th, our company supported the event organized by the Pan-Cypriot Union of Cretans together with the company Polykarpou HRD and the association Diasosi Zois Protoi Voithoi (Life Rescue First Responders).

Together, we participated in the voluntary blood donation at the Church of Apostle Andrew in Mesa Geitonia, Limassol, in memory of Lefteris Xenophontos.

The blood drive was a great success — 47 units of blood and 9 samples were collected during this voluntary act!

Tree Adoption

A small contribution to our planet! We too are contributing to the effort "I PLANT FOR THE CLIMATE" by adopting 30 saplings to be planted on our island. Following the recent wildfires in our forests, the ecosystem of our land has been irreparably damaged and we must help it in every way possible! Our next step is to assist with the reforestation that will take place after the end of summer in areas of immediate need!

"Aktaias" Beach Cleanup in Limassol

An initiative by Veluda to clean one of the beaches of our wonderful island from plastics and other waste that pollutes the beach, the sea, and aquatic organisms. With the support of the organization Let's Do It Cyprus and the invaluable help of Save Your Hood Cyprus, we managed to collect over 200 bags of waste in just 2 hours. This action took place in the context of World Earth Day, to remind us how important it is to take care of our planet and to try to pollute it as little as possible.

Donation to the Pan-Cypriot Organization of Kidney Patients

As part of our support and awareness efforts for kidney patients, our company donated 4% of the entire month of March's sales to the Pan-Cypriot Organization of Kidney Patients (P.O.N.), with the aim of improving the health of an ever-growing number of patients!

Donation to the Saint Lazaros Foundation

Our company donated a free water cooler/dispenser with built-in water filters to the Saint Lazaros Disability Center (AMEA) in Larnaca, so that everyone can drink clean and healthy water.
The donation was made in October 2020!

Donation to the Cultural Club "Diastasi"

Our company donated a free water cooler/dispenser with built-in water filters to the Cultural Club "Diastasi" in Limassol, which has been established since 1984.
The donation was made in July 2020!
